Your global passport: the RIBA pathway

RIBA validation is a worldwide benchmark. In the UK the title ‘architect’ is protected: you register with the Architects Registration Board after Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 and two years of practical experience.

Entry requirements, honestly

Top schools want AAA or higher. Mid-tier typically ABB. A foundation year flips the script: portfolio, creative development and potential — not only A-level grades. All programmes below maintain RIBA Part 1 or ARB accreditation.

UAL Extended Diploma tariff: Year 1 Distinction 84 · Year 2 Distinction 168. A Foundation Diploma pass is an accepted Level 3 for many art-first architecture courses.
