A student-designed Harper’s Bazaar licensing pitch for Hearst

Student highlight · Hearst

Twelve students. A Harper’s Bazaar brief. The publishing house in the room.

Master’s and BA Fashion Branding students were asked to pitch a licensing partnership for Harper’s Bazaar — directly to Hearst professionals. The year-long programme already holds lectures, workshops, mentorship, live briefs for Cosmopolitan and ELLE, and internship days inside the creative and editorial teams.

Hearst Magazines UK publishes Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Esquire. Carolyn Timson — Global Vice President of Design at Tommy Hilfiger, now course lead — opened that partnership to BA students. Chloe Ward runs the communication pathway on the diplomas. MA graduates have gone on to Esquire itself.
